Great Historical Qama Knife

The qama or ghama is a short sword , known as kina in the north caucasus and kama in Georgia.It is a long ,wide double edged fighting knife or a short sword.This weapon has a central vertical line in the middle, and has inscription on both sides in persian. Hilt and scabbard are made of iron having gold coating.

Hilt is mounted with a sheep head.

Presently situated and preserved in Albert Hall , Jaipur .
